Mutya ng Bula 2K15

Given the complexity of the tasks and the level of performance demmanded of the 

Mutya ng Bula, the search calls beyond just captivating 

physical beauty to a more holistic package.

The search demands for a personality that exudes warmth, 

charisma and hospitality. 

Furthermore, as ambasadress of goodwill, the role requires a well- informed conversant

 individual who can express ideas with clarity and confidence. 

Conversational and interpersonal skills are a must. 

Moreover, knowledge of basic office tasks complete the criteria demanded for a 

well rounded individual.

This activity intends to search for a holistic personality who will not only carry out the tasks required of an ambassador of goodwill but project herself as the 

symbolic of the pleasant image of the barangay.

Rules & Regulations

  1. Pure Beauty, Talent and Brain is a must.

  2. Applicant must be naturally born female and absolutely single.

     If proven pregnant - she must subject for disqualification.

  3. 18-24 years old

  4. An official resident of Barangay Bula. Submit a Certificate of Residency for validation.

  5. At least 5’4” in height.

  6. Must be in good moral character.

  7. The official candidate will undergo with the following sets of portions:

    1. Final Submission of Entry -September 10, 2015

    2. Official Candidates Screening - September 14, 2015

    3. Photoshoots September 20, 2015

    4. Trainings and Seminars To-be-arranged

    5. Community Services To-be-arranged

    6. Talent Night October 22, 2015

    7. Coronation Night October 25, 2015

  8. The aspiring candidate must undergo an offcial screening process with the organizers and the event committee where only 10 are chosen to be the official candidate that will proceed to the sets of pageant portions.

  9. The offcial candidate must understand the she will be competing with 6 main areas in order to be qualified to the Top 5 and have a chance to win the crown

    1. Interview

    2. Mutya Creative Outfit - Colour Festive Costume

    3. Talent (Own Choice)

    4. Sexy Short (To be arranged)

    5. Casual Wear (Classic)

    6. Evening Gown (Own Choice)

  10. Applicant understands that she must uphold a pleasant, professional and friendly demeanor at all times while       representing the title.

  11. Winners will understand that they will be receiving the approved prizes from the council. (Details will follow)

  12. No complaints will be entertained after the official briefing and after the pageant.

  13. Only 2official handlers are allowed per candidate - 1 Personal Assistant 2 Make-Up Artist

  14. Applicants are required to strictly adhere to the beauty pageant rules and regulations, 

and if any of  these rules are broken by any of the applicants - understands that the participation 

is automatically disqualify.

Talent Portion

  1. Performance must be within 2-3 minutesonly. The timer starts with the first sound, or action in the talent. 

    A timer will signal at the end of the timer duration. If a candidate exceeds, 3 points will be deducted from the average score.

  2. Props, back-up dancers/performers or supporting accompaniments may be used 

    as long as they are provided by the candidates, set-up and set-down must be 1 minute each. 

    Only 4 human props are allowed to avoid commotion. Technical errors with the production team 

    are not included to the alloted time of setting and performances.

  3. Fire, Water and other dangerous and explicitly offendding objects are strictly prohibited as your props. 

    You may subject for disqualification when these occurs.

  4. Talent presentations must be within the bound of moral decency and must not offend anyone’s sensibilities.

Judging Mechanics

  1. Scoring will simply e with a higher possible score of 10 and a lowest possible of 1 with increments of 0.1 or one decimal point. Rating shall be based on the general impression of the judge acccording to the following criteria.

    i. Creativity and Appropriateness

    ii. Uniqueness

    iii. Over-All Impact

     

    c) Interview

    iii. Intelligence and Confidence

     

    d) Sexy Short

    i. Beauty and Physique

    ii. Bearing of Attire

    iii. Stage Presence

     

    e) Casual Wear

    i. Beauty and Poise

    ii. Appropriateness

    iii. Bearing of the Attire

    iv. Stage Presence

     

    f) Evening Gown

    i. Beauty and Elegance

    ii. Sophistication

    iii. Bearing of Attire

    iv. Stage Presence

  3. The score garnered from the different sets of competition will be added automatically in determining the Top 5 that will proceed to the final round of competition.

  4. In the final round, all the previous scores will be discarded and a ranking system will be used. 

    Judges will rank the 5 finalists - Rank 1 being the highest and rank 5 being the lowest based on the finalists answer to the final question and the judges over-all impressions from the previous portions of the pageant.  Ranking will be tallied and totaled. The candidate with the lowest aggregate rank total wins 

    the title and the next ranking aggregate total shall be awarded runners-up. 

  5. All computations will be done by a computer program as our official tabulation.

  6. The decision of the judges will be final and irrevocable.

 

 

 

Application of Entry

You must fill-up the form attached by this site and submit the following requirements to the Office of the Barangay Secretary, 2nd Floor, Bula Barangay Hall Building, Bula, General Santos City on or before September 10, 2015, 5 P.M.

Only the first 20 applicants must be accomodated that can proceed to the Official Candidate Screening on September 14, 2015 and have a chance to be selected in the list of the 12 Official Candidate for the Mutya ng Bula 2015.
